Trip to Bozeman and then back in the Studio to work on the Eyes

Today was a mixed day. Had computer problems last night, after a Microsoft update.. grrrrr... So I had to take my lap top into Bozeman to have a computer guy work on it. Got home and into my studio late this afternoon. I only had time to work on the Warrior's eyes. I'll be gone till 28th of this month, or Monday of this next week.
Merry Christmas to all of you who come to my blog and my Youtube Videos. Without you all, I'd be doing this for myself. lol

Hey David... just in case you don't know... you can follow my blog even though I don't have the Follow widget. Just go there by clicking on my name above, and then on my blog name (weird looking HTML code stuff... long story!). Once you get there, look along the blogspot toolbar across the very top of the page and you'll see a little Follow link at the left side. I know... I need to upgrade my blog template... I'm about a decade behind the times!!

David, I hope you are traveling safely and glad you got your computer fixed, but what a time to have to mess with that - on December 23rd!!! Terrible.

I hope you had a fine and very, very merry Christmas.

Blessings my friend.

It is so fascinating to watch you craft a face and everything else. That "mouth" is a masterpiece!

Also loved the trip to Bozeman. See, here where I live, we would not get on that road for anything. I guess you would be housebound!

We did have a white Christmas - very rare for us. Had ice first. We are still almost iced in. No one is getting out unless they have to.

Christmas dinner was at my sister-in-laws, just 4 doors away. Got my mother to my house before the ice hit. She does not walk well - so my nephew picked us up with chains on his tires:-) Aren't we wusses? Yes we are!

David,
How do you build your armatures with the removable arms and head? Is there a special tool or piece of metal that is used? I see you've done that on your last two pieces and it looks like this would be a lot easier to work on the head this way.
