David, ive been folowing your blog and found your videos on you tube that I have been watching for the last 6 months or so, and i just need to tell you; I cannot go on without letting you know that I am impressed at your work and your abilitys.I have been carving wood sculpture since early 2000 when I inherited tools from my grandfather, have been teaching myself from many hours of books and videos, I have been engulfed in clay sculpting through advise from my father the same through books and videos since about 2005 and have turned many mile stones, then did some online classes and turned some more corners at the Acadamy of Art in this endevor to become the artist i want to be. Then I found you, and you have sent me on my greatest journy ever, I have turned another corner and owe it to you that i have. You have, besides my father, been the greatest asset to my future of art to date. I really feel Im getting there now. My father tells me too that i have which means a lot becouse he is an accomplished oil painter of Americana art. I am 49 years young and hope to do this till im a 100. Im getting my first bronze now and working on my next sculpture now. I cant thank you enough! Cant wait to see you do her hands, Sweet Grass that is. sincerely Joe Daly-Washington state.
