"I Wanna Be Like You Daddy" - Decisions and Surgery Today

I added a bit of a side smile to the boy's face then as I was working on it, I noticed the eyes were out of alignment.

Thank you, for showing how the cowboy hat should "flow", I will try that... and to cut out the eye to align it is really neat, the eyes are very hard for me to do.

Will you finish the dog anyway? Pleeease? I would love to watch you sculpting the dog, but I feel the piece is stronger without him, too. The little guy touches my heart :)

Hugs,
Alex

Wow, the lifesize cowbow is amazing...

I'm not going to finish this dog.. I still have a sculpty piece to do.. maybe I'll make that a dog.... Maybe.. lol
There are some books you might want to get.
Get these two from Barns and Noble.
This first one is great. It covers human anatomy and animal anatomy
"Cyclopedia Anatomicae"
By Gyorgy Feher
This on is good as well
"Anatomy Drawing School"
Andras Szunyoghy ( I think that's how you spell the name)
Got them both for a little over $25 and got shipping free. You might find them handy.

David, I love the little smile, and when you mentioned that you might add a dog, I thought that would be a good balance, but seeing the actual clay without the dog, I do like it better without.

What a precious piece, and fascinating to watch you work on the eye.
