Every year, the Friday before the opening weekend of the annual hunting season, Ennis Montana puts on a Hunter's Feed. Locals from all over the valley cook up their best dishes, using only game meat as the main ingredient.
I've eaten in the past, Mountain Lion Stew, Buffalo, Elk, Deer, Antelope, Snake, Black Bear, and who knows what else.. It's a fun time and it's all free. If your ever in this area around this time of year, you should try to make it to this annual event.
