Had to make a run to Bozeman Montana today. It's a 65 mile trip to the foundry, Northwest Art Castings, on Bear Canyon Road.
I was told that "War Stories" was in shell (ceramic mold). Which meant that a ceramic and sand mold was being made of the wax casting of the original sculpture.
I found out, once I got to the foundry that the first copy was now in bronze.

On the way home, stopped by an artist friend of mines studio, where I followed a couple of Antelope up his road.
I'll be in studio on Tuesday, and will be going back to the foundry next week to color the first bronze of "War Stories"
