Back on the Warrior's Head Making Adjustments

With the head in place I start refining the Warrior's face.. at some point I saw I needed to adjust the face even more, so I heated up my knives, so they'd cut much easier, and then added about an 1/8 th of an inch wider and then lifted the left eye up about a 1/16 th of an inch, to line it up with the right eye. Last night, late, I removed the supporting arm for the Armature, on a whim. I knew it was going to interfere with the total design of the piece. Then I fleshed in the right arm. Starting on the anatomy of the warrior today. I work from the legs up.. Like any good construction.. Building or figure.. you have to have a foundation. In this case, it's the legs. Rocking Today

I End Up Pouring Foam on the Base Today

Continuing to work on the rocks for the base of this clay. I came to the decision that I would have to pour Taxidermy Foam to even get the rocks shaped. New Idea for a Clay

I'm tentatively going to do a clay of a Northern Cheyenne Warrior. One that is a member of the Crazy Dog Society. "The societies of each tribe formed in separate bands. The Crazy Dogs being accounted as the bravest, would be found in front of all others, while the Dog Soldiers brought up the rear." Michael Bad Hand, years ago, provided a model wearing the clothing of the Crazy Dog Society. He's been giving me advice on this idea. I have 9 Instructional DVDs on how to sculpt for purchase. The Dog Gets a Tail and I Reunite The Figures

Worked on the fur texture of the dog and then added his curly tail. I then reunited the pet with the couple. The piece is really starting to come together. Adding Fur to the Dog's Body
