this is my 1,300th post.. How about that... Worked again on the stone war club. Finished it then started to work on the hand holding it.

Yesterday I was just feeling so good, but then today, had a heavy lunch and I wasn't feeling so good. Because of different things.. I've been eating very little. Mostly soups, or sandwiches. Nothing substantial at all. Well today I got my lunch from the local Market Deli. It was heavy eating for the first time in a long time. So it didn't sit well. Thus a short day of creating. I decided on the war club for this clay. A stone headed war club. Very lethal in hand to hand combat. I started with a twig off my Crab Apple Bush next to my front porch for the club part and then made a wax rock. Seems to be working well.

Unconquered Back On My Demo Clay From Sculpture Depot in Loveland

Back at the beginning of August 2015, I put on a Demonstration at the Sculpture Depot Store in Loveland, Colorado, I created this piece over several days, using a 24 inch TruForm armature that they sell there. I was going to start the Mountain Man, but I'm waiting for a friend of mine to send me pics of the pose and him dressed as a rugged mountain man, as reference. I'm leaving Tuesday of next week, and flying to Dallas, Fortworth, then on up to Grapevine Texas to put on a workshop next week. The 14th to the 17th.
