Finishing a Headdress of a Clay I was working on in 2010

From over 10 years ago. I created feathers for this headdress out of Wax, and here I attach them to the sculpture. This clay was eventually destroyed. I couldn't afford to cast it.. so it started to collapse because of the weight of the clay and the three years it stood. I did save the clay from the shoulders up.. I'll post a picture of that in the comments area. Broke my heart to have to destroy this piece..

CRAZY HORSE, It's Finished Today,  Day 4

\ Final touching up of the clay this morning. I'll let it sit till Tuesday of next week, before taking it to the foundry to be cast into bronze. This will give me time to go over it once again, after a few days away from it, to see anything else that needs to be done.. before taking it to the foundry.

CHANGE OF PLANS AND PROJECTS TODAY - BACK ON CRAZY HORSE

Mountain Trails Gallery delivered my three clays I had on display in their gallery in Jackson Wyoming. I sold two copies of CRAZY HORSE. So I need to get it ready to be cast into bronze. I'm going to have to set my studio to work on that clay. That will take today to do.
